Bio

I was introduced to CrossFit at 18 years old and haven’t looked back since. After beginning to find regular gym going quite mundane, I watched the 2015 CrossFit Games with my sister and from there, my interest in the sport truly peaked. Ever since 2015, my dedication to CrossFit has come in waves with some years being more performance-based, while other years have been looking into CrossFit as a source of self-care and giving myself an hour to simply move.

Turning Point

The moment I knew CrossFit for something for me was when moments of hard work were noticeably paying off. The moment of experiencing your first strict pull-up unexpectedly, making it through a workout without stopping on any of the runs, or not tripping up on any of your double-unders; each moment would mean something special because over time all of these things would start to feel more achievable with each session.

Motivation & Passion

What keeps me coming back to CrossFit is the endless determination and discipline to improve yourself and your fitness level. The different workouts and tests provided can be shaped and moulded into the stimulus you would like to achieve for the day. From being in the competitive space and the space to happily supporting from the sidelines, the CrossFit community is a space I enjoy being a part of.
